Comic summary:

"In the Automagician city of Solitude, magic runs abundant. It powers your transportation, your home, your work. All you have to do is earn it-- and you have infinite opportunities to do so. With every citizen teeming with unlimited time and potential, your city has cultivated a wonderfully competitive spirit!

Just kidding.

There may have been a time when this shit was true, but judging by the cracked buildings and empty streets, it's been a long while. However, you're in luck-- for the first time in 600 years, the dead god Sol has called a Gratitude Festival wherein whoever presents the most creative innovation will be awarded more magic than they can possibly imagine.

....Hopefully you can get off work."

This is chapter 1, in which somebody has a very big day. 31 pages, full color. You can read it in ongoing classic webcomic format here.

OH JEEZ thank you for letting me know!!!! I'll get on this right now!! Edit: I've downloaded it myself and not had this issue, would you mind telling me what device & app you're reading it on?

I was reading it through firefox ,which has never given me issue before, but strangley enough works just fine through edge. Seems to be the first time I can ever say that browsers been worth anything beyond installing other, better browsers. But I apologize for the issue and I'll delete the original comment as to not potentially provide the wrong impression of the book for anyone else who stumbles upon it.

Ah okay, I'm glad you were able to read it alright. Thanks again for letting me know all the same! It still might be something worth looking into to make sure it works on all browsers. 😊
